We at Fido and Felix Boarding Kennels have animal health policies developed by our veterinary consultant, and our staff are trained to recognize disease or health issues, but we are not vets. Appropriate vaccinations are required before boarding.
VACCINATION
All dogs and cats must be fully immunised and proof of vaccination is required. Cats need to have minimum F3 vaccination and dogs need to have their C5 vaccination.
For pets staying longer than four days, they must be treated with a systemic Flea, and preferably Tick, treatment before or on arrival, e.g. Nexgard, Bravecto, Simparica, Revolution etc. This is for the protection of your pet and other boarding pets.
MEDICATIONS Our staff are experienced in giving a variety of medications to both dogs and cats. From basic medication to heart medication, we are more than happy to accommodate your pet's needs.
* An extra fee will apply for pets who need daily medication and will be assessed on the complexity of the medication regime.
