Fido & Felix Boarding Kennels & Cattery, established in 2002, is conveniently situated on New Cleveland Road, Gumdale (a leafy outer suburb of Brisbane). Our cattery and kennels give you absolute peace of mind that your pet is in safe hands.  In trusting us to care for your pet, you are putting your pet into the hands of people who are dedicated to providing the highest levels of comfort and service.  We set high benchmarks in terms of pet care, dietary regulations and animal hygiene.  Our service is not only the best but also one of the most affordable. 

Our facilities are often in high demand and, as a result, on occasion we will be fully booked and unable to take your pets.  Please know that this does not reflect on the value we place on your business.  We value and look forward to assisting our long term customers and can only suggest that you make your bookings as early as possible.

Important Things to Remember

• All dogs and cats must be fully immunised and proof of vaccination is required.  Cats need to have minimum F3 vaccination and dogs need to have their C5 vaccination.  Click here for more information....
  
• For pets staying longer than four days, they must be treated with a systemic Flea, and preferably Tick, treatment before or on arrival, e.g. Nexgard, Bravecto, Simparica, Revolution etc. This is for the protection of your pet and other boarding pets. 
  
• Whilst all bedding is supplied you may bring additional bedding and toys for your pet(s) but we do request that it be kept to a minimum.  Please note that we will not be held responsible for any bedding, toys and leads etc damaged or not collected. Any items not collected after two weeks are donated to rescue organisations or destroyed.
• Please ensure that your feline pets arrive in suitable carrying containers as we take no responsibility in that regard.

No problems! Our staff are experienced in giving a variety of medications to both dogs and cats. From basic medication to heart medication, we are more than happy to accommodate your pet's needs.  *  An extra fee will apply for pets who need daily medication.

Our facilities and operations exceed the Victorian Code of Practice for the Operation of Boarding Establishments.
